Hi Guys,

Please I need a pointer to the Final solution for K8, I have seen one from Ritikee and Netzien, but there are some disparity.

Please do we have a consolidated final K8 now?
There is no K8 solution which is 100% perfect. You have to study whatever is available (riktee/netizen/easynet/etc).

i have 2 friends who took the exam recently this week. both got k8, both failed.
their feedback are proctor goes in to change their config..seems that the proctor recently gets real active in playing punk with candidates huh..

during my exam, my peer who got k6.. told me during lunch/after exam told me his config got changed at least 3 times... the initial root guard towards bb1,2,3 fa0/10 always got added back when he removed it.. therefore guys.. kindly check your answers frequently..

Or at least act that you are too stress with the questions so that they will leave u alone ^_^

The proctor went to lunch with us and chatted for a bit. I really have a hard time believing proctors are changing configs to be honest.

No. It's not happening. Not in America, not in Europe, not in Asia, not anywhere.

I had the configs change on me before. On my 2nd attempt I had 2 hours left to verify my configs, etc. I verified reachability, etc 5 times to every single route from every single router using my check list and all checked out. I reloaded like 3 times and still everything was fine. Last 30 mins my network started falling apart. port security appeared on 2 trunk ports. 1x port was set to block unicast traffic (WTF!!!) and others I did not find out in time. It does happen. Convinced of it. My 3rd time was a true clusterf--k...completely messed up the multicast portion and one of crappy redistribution commands was playing havoc with the network stability. 3x Failures. Strange thing is that when I labbed it up at home I typed in my exact 1:1 configs and they were fine - go figure I guess. I am going to follow the advice of a fellow IE passer who told me that they trained themselves to literally memorise everything single command they entered and how they should appear. Also took frequent full backups of the configs for each device after completing sections. When things went wrong he just compared the full configs and removed anything that should not be there. He said it was only viable because he had the time to do it during the lab.

Hi Members,
Thanks to all for the views and opinions, specially to RIKITEE, crackerjoe69 and UldisD for their contribution.
while practising the k8 lab and reviewing the solution, I found the point 2.7 Implement IPv4 iBGP configuration on R1
"Quote"

when no bgp default ipv4-unicast command is issued under the global bgp configuration, the policy command "neighbor 10.x.x.x send-community" is to be issued under " address-family ipv4" as bgp does not accept this command under bgp global configuration and will give  a message "Policy commands not allowed without an address family". correct me if I have wrong understanding.

However, upon completion of my following bgp coconfiguration I do not see dual path from from SW3 " SW4 should have multiple paths to reach AS254 (Peer with SW1 and SW3 and apply maximum-path 2)".  'show ip cef 197.68.1.0/24'
My bgp configuration and show ip cef on SW3 is as follows your sugession is highly recomended.

Rack10SW3#sh ip cef 197.68.5.0/24
197.68.5.0/24

load-balance is possible only if R4 is exit-point to AS254.
Please, show ip bgp 197.68.1.0/24

If you want to stress on some particular word put it in CAPs. There is no need to type everything in "CAPS".  It is considered to be rude.
