A Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) is capable of designing, deploying, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting the vast majority of Palo Alto Networks-based network security implementations. Passing the PCNSE7 and exhibiting solid professional behavior, are the requirements for becoming a PCNSE7. The formal certification exam is hosted and proctored by the third-party testing company Pearson VUE. Either exam should be taken by anyone who is prepared to demonstrate a deep understanding of Palo Alto Networks technologies. Candidates can be anyone who uses Palo Alto Networks products, including customers, partners, system engineers, systems integrators and support engineers.

Recommended Training
Palo Alto Networks strongly recommends, you attending our Essentials I  (201), Essentials II  (205), and Panorama (221)
classes. Courses do not cover everything that a PCNSE7 needs to know, but they’re the most efficient way to start learning. When you have the basics mastered, you should spend time on our platform practicing using the information in the 7.0 versions of the Administrator’s Guides.

I know I'm new to the forums but I am starting my journey on this certification now.  I passed the ACE yesterday and for $160 why not get the CNSE.  This cert will look so good on a resume.  I will be in touch with any information or study guides I find on my way.  I'm hoping to take it by August as I am a full time student as well as working full time so study time is hard to find.  Has anyone at all got the new PCNSE7 yet?

I was scheduled to take this at the end of April but got caught with Linux+ and Security+ on short notice. I will take this sometime in June.
