Hi all,
I am a senior graduating with a Bachelors degree in Biology.

I wanted to get into dental school but due to circumstances, and having wasted too much time, I do not want to go that route.  Not yet!

I have been looking into IT and IT certifications and found a course for Oracle.

Oracle Database 11g SQL Expert

Someone is offering that course for pennies on the dollar and I am really interested in taking it.  However, I have no experience in IT, or databases, whatsoever.

Should I go for it?  The cost of the course is next to nothing, for me at least, and I will receive 40 hours of training.

Also, is Oracle in demand?

Oracle has some good courses, but with no experience you might want to study all of the basics first before you decide to make that move.
