Hi zuzkie,

Do I need setting after download all file that u included. Or i just need to use GNS3 then just add file to GNS3. Kindly please explain.   For example i need to make freebsd to integrate with Qemu and junos? TQ

In fact I was trying create video how to configure  GNS3 0.7 WIN version for Juniper support.  But I was able to start only one instance of Juniper - I have not seen it on Linux. Is anyone else seeing this?

Kechik: No you don't have to install FreeBSD, Junos. You need to do this only if you want create olive-base.img by your own.  Just install GNS3 0.7 all in one (includes Dynamips, Qemu/Pemu, Putty and WinPCAP 4.1.1), download olive-base.img and configure GNS3 to support Juniper.

On GNS3 0.7 side you have to set path to olive-base.img, path to qemu, qemuwrapper, qemu-img.

Dear All,

I already can access Olive using Qemu. But i have one question ....Why i fail to configure Vlan-id at interface FXP1. If i referto this web site http://sioduy.blogsome.com/category/olive/  ,

it can configure such as below:

logical-systems {
    pe1 {
        interfaces {
            fxp1 {
                unit 40 {
                    vlan-id 40;
                    family inet {
                        address 10.1.3.2/30;
                    }
                    family mpls;

But i failed:

[edit logical-systems]
[email protected]# commit
[edit logical-systems P1 interfaces fxp1]
  'unit 10'
     VLAN-ID can only be specified on tagged ethernet interfaces
error: configuration check-out failed

Can someone telll me if i have done wrong?

GNS3 0.7.1 has been released and it seems that bug with creating default 3GB  FLASH is fixed. You shouldn't see  "THE FOLLOWING DISK SECTORS COULD NOT BE READ:" anymore.
