Hey All, i know they're are a ton of forums on Google helping people fix their problems with GNS3 but i cannot seem to get mine working. I am not new to the program I have previously used the program at home and everything on my home pc works like a charm at the moment i am attempting to run it on my work pc which is running windows 7/x64bit/i5-3470 . Once one problem is resolved i seem to hit another this most recent problem is where i am now stuck and cannot figure out or find a workaround thus far.

Errors:
After importing the IOS and decompressing the IOS i am unable to auto calculate the idle pc. i avoid this and click save anyhow dragging the router icon over to the GNS whiteboard it comes up as stopped. When i click start on the router i receive the following in the gns CLI console (Before hand typing in the debug 3 command)

10:58:03: DEBUG (1): sending to dynamips at 192.168.56.1:7200 -> vm create "ghost-c1700-adventerprisek9-mz.123-11.T10 (1).image-192.168.56.1.ghost" 1 c1700

10:58:03: DEBUG (1): returned -> ["100-IOS image set for 'ghost-c1700-adventerprisek9-mz.123-11.T10 (1).image-192.168.56.1.ghost'"]

10:58:03: DEBUG (1): returned -> ['100-OK']
10:58:03: DEBUG (1): sending to dynamips at 192.168.56.1:7200 -> vm set_ghost_file "ghost-c1700-adventerprisek9-mz.123-11.T10 (1).image-192.168.56.1.ghost" c1700-adventerprisek9-mz.123-11.T10 (1).image-192.168.56.1.ghost
10:58:03: DEBUG (1): returned -> ['203-Bad number of parameters (3 with min/max=2/2)']

also aside from Gns's Cli, i get an error window that pops up saying:

STARTING NODES
Issues have been detected while starting nodes,
R1: error from server 192.168.56.1:7200 206-unable to create VM instance 'ghost-c1700-adventerprisek9-mz.123.11.T10 (1).image-192.168.56.1'

I will be refreshing the post frequently throughout the day to reply swiftly to any all questions that may contribute to the solution of the issue at hand.

Thank you for reading my post,
Your time is much appreciated.

i think you should also ask this on the actual gns3 forum... :rolleyes:
You'll have more chances of getting a reply there for your problem ^_^

Sorry to resurrect a zombie thread, but for anybody needing assistance with GNS3, the official forums are currently HERE.  I hate the new Jive community platform, but the devs are working on a custom software we'll move to at some point.

And despite what certain users on here think *looking at YOU <name redacted>*  The software has gotten a LOT better (it's up to 1.4.0beta1 now). Instead of just being used for Cisco devices, I can use a plethora of other vendors devices, as well as custom Virtualbox, Qemu, and VMware VMs.  If anyone wants, I can post the laundry list of devices I can use in the topologies now.

*full disclosure*
I'm a moderator there, and not only do I and the other mods and devs help users, we also have plenty of experts that frequent the boards to assist anyone having an issue.

Need help with a GE boombox I just bought. I was walking with it and all of a sudden it just stopped playing. Its wont play but I know thats not the problem. I just have to get to the cassette and take it out for a second....The only problem is that the tape deck door wont open.

The stop/ eject button works when I hit stop...but wont work when I hit eject.
