Hey All,

I am new to both oracle and rac but wanted to know how would you set up O. Rac in a disaster recovery config if you had two nodes and two sans?

Any help is grateful

Hi,
There is a book called "Pro Oracle Database 11G RAC on linux" by Apress which gives you alot of information on RAC. As RAC is a bit vague yet to me not sure how to answer this.
But from what I got so far from RAC, disaster recovery in RAC is usually configured that if node 1 goes down the second node takes on the load of node 1.
If you want data recovery you need 2 databases for disaster recovery (1 your current RAC db, the other the standby one), data / DDL is usually replicated using Data Guard or streams.
Passed : COG-132
