Actually...the method I found out....the Labsim, questions and everything works just like the originals...I even have an Update Patch which will update the engine so that everything works fine...including the videos.....it has been tested with the latest 70-647 which many people fail to run (SIMS work as well...)

I have posted it on:
http://certcollection.org/forum/topic/12798-how-to-testout-simulation/page__st__42

It's always a crime to support Piracy.....Assuming you are a student, many of you
will be unable to buy this. Hence, you should promise yourself that when you start earning,
you will buy the TESTOUT package......

Meanwhile, this is the solution (videos & simulations work fine) that I found.......
USING THIS INFORMATION, YOU PROMISE to BUY the TESTOUT Package once you start earning.......
otherwise don't try this......Piracy destroys companies......
Besides....you wouldn't want someone to steal your things...would you!!

Last, but not the least.....I do not hold any responsibility for any damages caused by this.....
USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK....

1.Install an old version of Testout (like 70-294) and install it to the default location.

2. From the installation directory (ie: C:\Program Files\TESTOUT) delete the following
subfolders: Glossary, Outlines, Questions, Resources, Sims

3. From the new Testout DVD (ie: X:\TESOUT), copy the folders:
Glossary, Outlines, Questions, Resources, Sims to your harddrive (ie: C:\Program Files\TESTOUT)

4. Browse to 'X:\TESTOUT\Setup' and copy files: COURSE.IDX, INST_CONFIGDB.IDX,
INST_FILEDB.IDX, COURSE.DAT, INST_CONFIGDB.DAT, INST_FILEDB.DAT to
'C:\Program Files\TESTOUT\CMIDATA'. (Overwrite if files exist)

5. Move 'Testout Updates.exe' to: 'C:\Program Files\TESTOUT' and run it

6. Run 'Testout Navigator' and select the new course that you see.

7. Don't forget to post your feedbacks!

Testout Updates.exe: http://hotfile.com/dl/104743894/f62fb11/Testout_Updates.rar.html

PS: This works with 70-647 and the others as well......

You trying a different client version. Download and install client from feedback #1 in top section this topic.

"Add a LabSim" button works only if you have a valid activation code. Attentively read again the crack_readme.txt and follow the instruction!

Under many users feedback the LegacyXEng.exe method incompatible some TestOut client and some TestOut course!  Particularly with labs and exams.

For maximum compatibility and usability download client from 1st post!

:D the answer of my question is: in Server 2008 you must install the Windows 7 Desktop Experience under "Features" in "Server Manager". Cause Windows Media Player was not in this Windows Version by default. Reboot, ready. :) Everything works fine, Labs, Videos, etc. Thanks!
