I had an error relating to a DNS issue with my test domain controllers DNS server so I resolved this by editing the hosts file

I added the IP of my domain first using the domain name davetest.ie and tried to continue but it didnt work

I then added davetest to the hosts file and it let me continue

Please note that for a live install your DNS will usually be configured correctly and this wouldnt be needed. but I'm lazy and wasnt willing to wait for the DNS server to refresh.

Usually its polite to request a copy of peoples work especially after they spend a few hours making slides....

I actually wouldnt have minded if you had asked my permission or at least linked it

back to the original site I posted it on.

hello jaoibh,

yes you are right, it is a hard work to write such a quality guide.

but, posting content public to the net dont protect your hard word for the slides, i am sure, you had know that after posting scdpm

we just collect information / contents for certifications all over the net. look where you landed. not a normal place. a place for free minds just willing to share knowledge without any attitude.

regards

t-zwck
