Release version works only under KVM in Ubuntu (see Release Notes).

Does anybody know if Juniper makes the official version for ESXi?

I haven't tested this release, but according to the documentation, it will only function in BASE mode (layer-2 features only) for 30 days without a license. So much for using it in a self-study lab.

My understand is that will work with limited PPS traffic for 30 days only.

Hi all!

Have the same problem like misio012345 previously.

After some time and several reboots FPC goes offline and nothing can make it online (reboots, LAN disconnecting/connecting). Any ideas?

Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. ge interfaces not listed and the same logs. It appears they get created and then the fpc goes offline and a couple of seconds after it goes online again. I attach the logs. I am using virtualbox as the .doc instructs. I also added more NICs (the virtual machine has 8).

I believe the em interfaces are usable. I would like to know if there is an advantage to using the ge interfaces over the em?

what Licence do you have on your vMX?

The licenses are Junos Subscriber Access Feature Pack (S-SA-FP) and Junos Service Management Feature Pack (S-SM-FP).
