Cisco IOS-XRv qcow2 Image for UNetLab

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I've created .qcow2 image for Cisco IOS-XRv version 5.2.2 and tested on UNetLab. Just download "hda.qcow2" and copy to "/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/xrv-k9-5.2.2" in UNetLab without changing anything. And then fix the permission using this command:

/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions

Cisco IOS-XRv (XRv-5.2.2)

Is it also possible to get this image working in GNS3 using its IOU VM if needed? I'm not familiar with UNetLab.

UNL is another piece like GNS3 or VIRL or IOU

you need to install under esxi or workstation

My RAM set for this image is already 3072 but the XRv is still not starting. I mean, the browser says Node starting but it is not playing unlike other images.

That much I knew. I don't want to start using UNL if I can get everything to work in GNS3 + its IOU VM :)
