Official Juniper Courseware Books

Recommended Posts

I apologize if these were already posted, but when I went through the various threads, either the links were dead, or they were for INE/CBT video courses, which isn't what I'm after.

I'm trying to self-teach myself how to use Juniper Devices, and already have the O'Reilly MX, QFX, JunOS Enterprise Routing, JunOS Enterprise Switching, and Juniper Network Warrior. (I couldn't find JunOS Cookbook anywhere except Amazon).

These all assume you already know how to use JunOS, which I do not. Are there any Official Courseware Books, like the Microsoft and Cisco Courseware? If so, some .PDFs on Mega would be greatly appreciated. I already searched Amazon, but came up empty. Ideally, I'm after all the books that would be the equivalent of Cisco's CCNA, CCNP, and Service Provider books.

If these don't exist, and the video series are my only option, feel free to dash my hopes in the replies below. I'd rather know now, than waste more time hunting to for them. Thank you in advance! :D

I do remember the first time I read those books from O'Reilly. They were way over my head. I'm trying to remember how I learned the basics of the Junos CLI, I think it was using the

from Juniper. You will find some usefull information there, e.g. Junos for IOS engineers and Exploring the Junos CLI.

Also, assuming you want to take the Juniper certification exams to validate your new-gained knowledge, I suggest you check out the pre-assessment tests which grant you a

Finally, I'm sure others will be able to share with you the official course material for the JNCIA-JUNOS exam.

Thank you Tommetje! I'll definitely snag the Day One books from J-Net. And you're correct that I'd like to take the Juniper exams (after I finish my CCNP), so thanks for the heads up about the pre-assessment test and the discount vouchers! :)

other one JSPX 10 a ....

Er... no link on that one

Thank you very much again wkm! :D

Oh, BTW, for some reason chrome flagged JunOS as a second language and Juniper_Networks_Networking_Fundamentals_course as malicious. I copied the links over to Pale Moon, and they downloaded without issue. Avast also said they're fine, so I have no idea what Chrome's problem is. It's done it before with other links elsewhere. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

wkm, you are fantastic! I had some or most of these resources floating around on an external hard drive somewhere but I was too lazy to go search for them. It is truly great that you took the time to bundle all those resources in this post.

Thank you, sir.

Yes, sir, indeed. I should really start studying for the JNCIS-SP exam but alas I work in a Cisco-only environment.
