Good Morning, can anybody help me please ?

I use ISE since ver 1.4...

My ISE is small.... so opt almost full... bla bla OK

i made new vm because my ISE is small.... OK

I use VMWARE ESX 6.7U1

i made the vm with version 2.0.0 all ok than apply patch flexlm and upload the 3 LICs ... Reboot.... All OK !! VERSION 2.0.0 with LICS

Example : Version 2.0.0 UDI AAAAAA

THAT'S OK

When I try to upgrade do vesrion 2.1 or 2.4 the UID increments ONE character the first one.... If i was in version 2 0 0 UID like this 0123456 after the upgrade the UDI change to 1123456

The strange behaviour ( is something i don't remember, because i'have ise since version 1.4 until now version 2.4 with patch 5 and is working ok..... but too small.... ) if i upgrade to 2.1 or 2.4 the UDI change one letter

Example : Version 2.0.0 UDI AAAAAA

Version 2.1.0 UDI BAAAAA

Could anyone help me because i really don't remember what i done a few years ago...

Thanks

Thanks for this tuto, works amazing!!!!

I install ISE 2.0, then used kali linux as live CD, mounted root partition (ISE installation partition), substituted flexlm-10.9.jar (following this guide for ISE 2.0), rebooted.

Then changed Serial in license file (ise# show udi), uploaded licenses via Internet Explorer.

Again, following this guide, upgraded to version 2.1 and then to version 2.6 final... All services running and Base License working!!! A warning pop-up related to APEX and PLUS licenses about to expire, nothing to worried about I supposed...

u can try to overcloclk your cpu , u need good ventilation on your gear and need to be familiar with bios setting and sw overclocking... to avoid if you dont know what are you doing !...
