Hi, Is possible to get unlimited eval on FMC 6.5.0? Thanks in advance

Yes, it's the same way. Just manually browse for the line numbers.

The line numbers are slightly different for different version and read the instructions given by others, it works. I would also love to get a working license key even if it's limited performance or devices, etc but yah, the hint is what it's suggesting .... and no, it's not small change... at least not for somebody looking for something for labbing.

It's the same HowTo that somebody else wrote. Check the forum. Last version I did was 6.5 . Will try 6.6 at some stage..

Just tested same HowTo guide posted by somebody else here for earlier version on 6.6 and it works fine.

SSH in to your Firepower Management Center

- Run "mysql -uroot -padmin sfsnort" to enter the MySQL console

Thanks for all your information,

I only have problem with this bit, when I want to login to mysql it says "ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)".

I'm running FMC 6.6.0, I think they have changed the root password for mysql.

Do you have any solution?

Thanks for sharing your solution

It worked for me

as you said I used FMC 6.5 version to add a new mysql user which survived after the upgrade of FMC (from 6.5 to 6.6)

Going  in mysql console

Expert -> mysql -u (username created in FMC 6.5) -p then type your password

mysql -> use sfsnort;

Then follow instructions mentionned by muhfugen

insert into smart_licenses values ('UUID', 'APEX', 1, 1, ACTIVE, 1498101252);
insert into smart_licenses values ('UUID', 'PLUS', 1, 1, ACTIVE, 1498101252);
insert into smart_licenses values ('UUID', 'VPNOnly', 1, 1, ACTIVE, 1498101252);

you do it for license_caps values

NB: All files to be edited are read-only, you must chmod 775 the file before then re-chmod to 444 after your change

here is my FMC edited lines which can change with yours), it is better to search for what you are going to edit in vi editor

Edit /var/sf/lib/perl/5.10.1/SF/License/SmartLicense.pm

change "'export_control' => 0, " to "'export_control' => 1, "

Edit /var/sf/lib/perl/5.10.1/SF/SmartAgentManager.pm

4059       change "$config->{'export_control'} = 0; " to "$config->{'export_control'} = 1; "
4109    change "return $rval; " to "return 1; "
4581    "$status->{'export_control'} = $export_control; " to "$status->{'export_control'} = 1; "
