I have 3060 with 10Gbit ports and assume they will work on and on all right, will stick to 9.x also if you'd have a chance to share 9.1.4 would be much appreciated thank you

I went up to 8.1.15 on my PA500, but after every update, it was getting slower, I found the best was 6.1.0, as it got rid of the flash requirement and it was still usable., 8.1.15 even had an issue when browsing top applications, the filters were not getting applied in the detail view, so I went back and back till 6.1.0, it was journey of one entire day. Also I found that the newer applications definitions don't work with 6.1.0 it broke the system and was not putting the interfaces up, maybe they will work with 6.1.21 Can you please provide the PanOS_500-6.1.21?

Thank you for the reply, don't worry, I will check if I can find proper ram for the PA500 to make it 2GB I think that will help to handle the newer versions, also planning on cloning the HDD to an SSD as IO wait times are really high. Just like my crack for Cisco Firepower Threat Defense, you do it all yourself so there is no question about wether or not malware has been installed. This assumes you have enough experience with the Linux command line to be able to edit text files, and understand the basics of using a hex editor. And although these instructions are for vSphere they should be easily adaptable for other hypervisors. I dont have a physical device to play with so i'm not sure if you can crack hardware appliances with these instructions. Hidden Content - Deploy the .ova file to your vSphere host, but do not power it on. - Use a scp program (such as WinSCP) to copy the .vmdk file to your computer. - Open the .vmdk file in a hex editor (such as HxD). - Enable the GRUB boot loader menu and remove the password from it. To do so replace hiddenmenu at offsets 0xB961019, 0xB962019, 0xB96301A, 0xB964019, 0x7A8EA014 with new line characters (0x0A) or other suitable whitespace. And replace password --md5 $1$yMKkNlnT$BDBNplJZAqlKyk.CUV4Vd0 at offsets 0xB961024, 0xB962024, 0xB963025, 0xB964024 with new line characters (0x0A) or other suitable whitespace. Please note that not all GRUB configuration files will have passwords, and technically they don't all need to be edited, but i'm not motivated enough to figure out which one in particular so we'll just edit them all. These offsets are for version 8.1, if a new version comes out, just search for hiddenmenu and you should be able to find the GRUB configuration files easily enough. - Replace the .vmdk file on your vSphere host with the modified copy you just created, with a scp program (such as WinSCP). - Power on the VM and let it boot PanOS for the first time to allow license initialization to occur. - Log in to the device in the WebUI, and shut it down from Device->Operations->Device Operations->Shutdown Device. - Edit the VM and give it an Hidden Content Give reaction to this post to see the hidden content. for the license type you want installed. If I remember correctly, failure to boot the system will the required minimum resources will remove all licenses from the system. - Power on the VM and hit the Escape key at the boot loader when it says Hit any key to stop autoboot... - Select the line which says PANOS (sysroot0) and press the E key to edit it. - Select the line which starts with kernel /boot/vmlinuz and press the E key to edit it. - Append single to the end of this boot loader entry to enable single user mode, and press the Return key to temporarily save it. - Press the B key to boot in to single user mode. - Edit /etc/cfgdb/eeprom.xml and change the value of platform.lic-cap to the type of license you want, such as VM-700 - Edit /etc/cfgdb/mp/vm/defaults.cfgdb.xml and change the value of general.vm-license from 'none' to the type of license you want enclosed in single quotes such as 'VM-700' - Delete /etc/cfgdb/dp/vm/cfgdb.xml and cfgdb.xml.old - Copy the appropriate .xml and .xml.old license files from /etc/cfgdb_license, such as cfgdb.vm700.xml and cfgdb.vm700.xml.old, to /etc/cfgdb/dp/vm, and rename them to cfgdb.xml and cfgdb.xml.old - Reboot the server with shutdown -r now Hidden Content Give reaction to this post to see the hidden content. Hi, Did anyone tried this crack? I have been trying to edit the mentioned offsets for days now but couldn't able to crack. If someone cracked this please let me know and guide me to crack the same. thanks in advance. 48 24 2
