Hi,

in the question 29 the correct answer should be the B "bare metal systems", for example.

In this moment i'm studying for the exam so i found only this.

Option A is Virtual Machine. So Bare metal or Virtual Machine? I think Virtual Machine is right Ans. Container is definitely wrong.

1. D&D with UCS Director, UCS Manager and Intersight - which does what
2. What bash commands used to rename all files in a folder to their SHA256 version
3. You have a network of 5 servers and 50 pc - why would you subnet ?

Q31 - This is the correct sequence:
Request Headers   --> -H is the Header request
Request Payload   --> curl -d "payload"
HTTP Request      --> POST https is the HTTP Request
HTTP Response     --> OK is the Response

Q29. I don't think Container is right Ans. Containers can run even without hypervisor (Bare metal server with host OS).  I still think right Ans is Virtual Machines.

Rest all seems correct to me.

Hidden Content

1. D&D with UCS Director, UCS Manager and Intersight - which does what
- Cisco UCS Director is a heterogeneous platform for private cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). It supports a variety of hypervisors along with Cisco and third-party servers, network, storage, converged and hyperconverged infrastructure across bare-metal and virtualized environments. Simplify IaaS.
The JSON or XML payload contained in an HTTP message describes a method or managed object (MO) in Cisco UCS Director.
- Cisco Intersight is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) infrastructure management platform that is augmented by other intelligent systems. It provides global management of the Cisco Unified Computing System™ (Cisco UCS®) and Cisco HyperFlex® hyperconverged infrastructure anywhere. Intersight provides a holistic approach to managing distributed computing environments from the core to the edge. The Cisco Intersight virtual appliance (available in the Essentials edition) provides customers with deployment options while still offering all the benefits of SaaS. This deployment flexibility enables organizations to achieve a higher level of automation, simplicity, and operational efficiency
The Intersight API accepts and returns messages that are encapsulated through JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) documents and uses HTTP over TLS as the transport protocol.
- Cisco UCS Manager runs within the fabric interconnect. You can use any of the interfaces available with this management service to access, configure, administer, and monitor the network and server resources for all chassis connected to the fabric interconnect.
Cisco UCS Manager includes the following interfaces you can use to manage a Cisco UCS domain:
     • Cisco UCS Manager GUI
     • Cisco UCS Manager CLI
     • XML API
     • KVM
     • IPMI
- Cisco UCS Central provides scalable management solutions for growing Cisco UCS environment. Cisco UCS Central simplifies the management of multiple Cisco UCS domains from a single management point through standardization, global policies and global ID pools. Cisco UCS Central does not replace Cisco UCS Manager, which is the policy driven management for single UCS domain. Instead Cisco UCS Central focuses on managing and monitoring the UCS domains on a global level, across multiple individual Cisco UCS Classic and Mini management domains worldwide.
     • Centralized Inventory of all Cisco UCS components for a definitive view of the entire infrastructure and simplified integration with current Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.
     • Centralized, policy-based firmware upgrades that can be applied globally or selectively through automated schedules or as business workloads demand
     • Global ID pooling to eliminate identifier conflicts
     • Global administrative policies that enable both global and local management of the Cisco UCS domains
     • An XML API, building on the Cisco UCS Manager XML API for easy integration into higher-level data center management frameworks
     • Bandwidth statistics collection and aggregation with two week or one year retention
     • Remote management to manage various end points in registered Cisco UCS domains

2. What bash commands used to rename all files in a folder to their SHA256 version
You can actually do this with this rename command:
rename 'chomp(my $new=`sha256sum "$_" | cut -d" " -f1`); s/.*/$new.mp4/' *mp4

To preview what it will do before actually renaming, use -n. For example:
rename -n 'chomp(my $new=`sha256sum "$_" | cut -d" " -f1`); s/.*/$new.mp4/' *mp4

And, to keep the original name:
rename -n 'chomp(my $new=`sha256sum "$_" | cut -d" " -f1`); s/.*/$_ $new.mp4/' *mp4

3. You have a network of 5 servers and 50 pc - why would you subnet ?
- Improve network performance and speed (But subnetting enables you to ensure that information remains in the subnetted network or broadcast domain, which allows other subnets to maximize their speed and effectiveness. Subnetting also divides your network’s broadcast domains, enabling you to better control traffic flow, thus increasing network performance)
- Reduce network congestion (Subnetting ensures that traffic destined for a device within a subnet stays in that subnet, which reduces congestion)
- Boost network security (you can control the flow of traffic using ACLs, QoS, or route-maps, enabling you to identify threats, close points of entry, and target your responses more easily)
- Control network growth (planning and designing a network size is something that needs to be taken into consideration)
- Ease administration (By subnetting, you can select the number of bits in your subnetwork, creating more realistic host limits)

Q25: B and C are the correct answer

- Write a test before writing code.
- Implementation is driven by incremental testing of release candidates.

Abstract: TDD proponents assert that frequent, incremental testing not only improves the delivered code's quality but also generates a cleaner design. The authors present results from a systematic literature review as well as commentary on the results from a TDD expert's experience on field projects. (

Definition

“Test-driven development” refers to a style of programming in which three activities are tightly interwoven: coding, testing (in the form of writing

It can be succinctly described by the following set of rules:

  • write a “single” unit test describing an aspect of the program
  • run the test, which should fail because the program lacks that feature
  • write “just enough” code, the simplest possible, to make the test pass
  • “refactor” the code until it conforms to the

Publish or expose port (-p, --expose)

$ docker run -p 127.0.0.1:80:8080/tcp ubuntu bash

This binds port 8080 of the container to TCP port 80 on 127.0.0.1 of the host machine. You can also specify udp and sctp ports. The

explains in detail how to manipulate ports in Docker.

Note that ports which are not bound to the host (i.e., -p 80:80 instead of -p 127.0.0.1:80:80) will be accessible from the outside. This also applies if you configured UFW to block this specific port, as Docker manages his own iptables rules.

Actually, i do not understand the word "using".

VM can run directly over hypervisor.

And, hypervisor is installed as bear metal mode. there are many bugs for hypervisor over hypervisor.
