johnsnow007 1,864 Posted June 14, 2020 If you require Viptela serial file to setup SD-WAN lab, follow these steps to generate the file. 1. Register a domain 2. Create an email account with the domain name. 3. Go to software.cisco.com and register for a smart account.(Use a valid address when registering) 4. Wait for 24-48 hours for your smart account to be verified by Cisco.(If you account is already verified, you don't have to wait) 5. You will receive an email from Cisco confirming the smart account registration approval. 6. Follow the steps to generate Viptela serial file.(Watch Labminutes videos ) That is all you need to get viptela.serial file for your SD-WAN lab. 13 6

kikojones 2,178 Posted August 29, 2020 Hi If you don't want to mess creating your own serialfile with smart account just google around and you will find some serialFile.viptela like this one from DevNet https://github.com/CiscoDevNet/sd-wan-ansible-pipeline-code/tree/master/licenses (attached below too). The trick for reuse is to create the organization name with the same name bound to that serialFile, DevNet Learning Lab. I just tested in a new vManage instance and works fine.
