  4. Folks -- I'm considered about enabling feature npv on DC2-N5K-1 since it will erase the current configurations. Will the 5K already be set to NPV and if not how does erasing the configuration affect the configurations in the previous section?

Q. 1.4 has us create a port-channel between the two 5Ks and has us pick the PC ID Q 1.5 has us create a vPC+ utilizing port-channel 200 as the vPC peer-link However, the topology only shows two cable runs connecting the 5Ks. My question is should the port-channel in Q1.4 be port-channel 200 or where does that come into play?
  8. I think I may be looking at an outdated topology here. Can anyone clarify how many links are between each device? Do we have two links running between each 7K and 5K? The logical topology I have only references one? If there are two links does anyone have an updated topology they could point me in the direction of?

  12. A few more clarifications: Can you confirm that UCS is utilizing FCoE too boot from SAN? There seems to be some confusion around which mode (NPV, NPIV) the Cisco 5Ks are in. Any insight into that?
  13. Can anyone confirm the Cisco UCS topology and how UCS will be booting from SAN on Lab 2? I have seen two different opinions on this and was hoping to get a definitive answer. From what I can tell, the possible scenarios area: UCS connected directly to MDS and N7Ks UCS connected to N5Ks which in turn are connected to the MDS
