  2. How can you be sure that cisco failed him on this particular solution, it could be any part of layer 2, we never know. for Both labs its global.

    if you all look into the english here, 2 things out of the question: 1. they have clearly not stated to block backbone routes. 2. they have clearly stated to have full reachability to customer prefix's.

  7. yup no tunnel its just like you are connecting area 0 to area 1....thats it. Simple ipv6 ospf connectivity.

    Here is the question for MPLS 2.4 Implement MPLS Part1 (Sore: 4 points) Configure MPLS per the MPLS topology diagram according to the following requirements: • Name the VRF as "vpnYY" (use RD=100:1 and route target import and export 100:1) • Use MPBGP AS 100 to exchange customer prefixes. Source all BGP updates using loopback 0 addresses. • Use OSPF as routing protocol between PE & CE. • Address the need MPLS introduces of connecting the partitioned OSPF backbone. 2.5 Implement MPLS Part2 (Sore: 3 points) Continue configuring MPLS as per the following requirements: • Make sure that MPLS backbone is preferred over the backdoor link between R2 &R3. Use the network YY.YY.100.Z/24 to facilitate this. • R1 must prefer the MPLS backbone for prefixes originated in Site2. This is not the case for R3. After configuring this task, both sites must have full reachability to each other for YY.YY.0.0 prefixes only. Now do we need to configure any route maps while redistributing in mpbgp to deny all external routes like those from BB3 & BB2??? the following statements says only the site specific routes must be reachable. "both sites must have full reachability to each other for YY.YY.0.0 prefixes only" or do they mean only about reachability, the routes can be present???

  11. i thought that IPV6 topology was pretty straight-forward. If you are getting confused with how the questions and diagrams look like in the workbooks then dont worry. In exam its made simple and very much understandable.

    when i cleared this the answer was just to add the loopback to the ospf process.
