  1. Hi All, Just like like to seek an assistance with regard to Sharepoint Server 2007 on a Windows 2003 AD and Exchange 2003 infra in a period of transitioning to Windows 2008 AD and Exchange 2010 infra. Is there any problems encountered during the transition? Just like to confirm if Sharepoint will still work under Windows 2008 and Exchange 2010 infra? Your great help will be appreciated. Thanks to all Jack Bauer
  2. Do you have ITIL CBT Nuggets ver. 3.0. This might be helfful.
  3. This is my choices.... 1. ESET 4.x - Trial version, the reason why I like this,is because I can download for an Offline updates. This keeps my Trial version forever. Another thing, since my copy is legitimate. I can send for a file risk analysis if my system detected something not on the ESET database engine. A powerful antivirus engine with low resources in used. 2. Microsoft Security Essential - a very nice proactive defense in all nowadays threats, of course same thing with ESET. Microsoft is now protecting their own products. 3. Symantec Endpoint 11.5 Protection
  4. Agree with DarXide suggestion. Another option: You may also try to re-create the Outlook profile. This might fix the problem you encountered. Also try UN-checked outlook add-ins one a time for troubleshooting purposes. Also check the whole system for spyware and malware. These might be the reasons why MS Office Application accumulate high resources on the system. Check also if you don't have problems in Naming Resolutions. This might possible that your client machine have difficulties on this part. Try to set your domain name suffix on the TCP/IP advance settings. Hope these helps
  5. Navigate this link [Hidden Content] Or Navigate Certification Planner from MCP Website, you'll find relevant information on what will be your next exam to be taken. Anyway, based on your exam track, you can take 70-648 to upgrade in MCTS Windows 2008 followed by 70-646 to complete MCITP-Server Administrator Certification. and since you also get 70-351, you can take 70-298 or 70-299 to complete MCSA+Security Certification. Bottom line, Certification Planner is your best friend if you are confused on all the replies.
  6. Pre, Setup ka na lang ng VPN server.
  7. Member ako dito for almost two years na....tama kayo, site mahilig mag download ng Learning materials he he he
  8. I used that guide also. Anyway, I have my home lab, I'm using AD and WSUS Via Virtual PC. Here's the list of problem I've encountered these might be similar in you. Scenario 1: Problems on Disk Cloning - System Cloning using Acronis on similar PC specs. 1. Two of my PC's which WSUS can not detect while the others are okay. 2. Run WSUS diagnostic. You can download it from MS Website. 3. Googled the error code found by that diagnostic and I found out the commands that fix the problem. I run this on the affected PCs. Here it is: cd c:\windows\system32\ ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /registerdns nbtstat -R net stop "Automatic Updates" net stop "BITS" net start "Automatic Updates" net start "BITS" wuauclt /detectnow wuauclt /reportnow Just google the explanation, I'm just found this on a WSUS Blogs on MSDN. Scenario 2: WSUS has available updates, but it can't deployed on clients. 1. The WSUS server can not be contacted by client. 2. Clients can ping the IP Address of WSUS but not the WSUS Server Hostname. 3. I found out that the AD/DNS has problems. 4. After AD/DNS was fixed, the same problems occurs. 5. I found out that BITS Services was disabled on all workstation done by my tweak utility. 6. Resolutions: Fixed the AD/DNS and BITS problem then everything works fine. To summarize you need check the following: 1. Workstations must able resolve WSUS server hostname. 2. Check if "Automatic Updates" is running. 3. Check if "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" (BITS) is running. 4. Check the AD GPO if configured properly. See attached screenshot of my GPO.
  9. On the Test Center where we always took the exams for almost 5 years , they're using Prometric instead of Pearson Vue. I don't know why. We've just sometime we've encountered disconnected but of course it has exam resume capability. And normally I got 2 hours 30 minutes exam time.
