  1. O'reilly - Functional Thinking English | Audio: aac, 44100 Hz, stereo | Video: h264, yuv420p, 1280x720, 25.00 fps® | 2.18GB Genre: E-learning <!--more--> Learning the syntax of a new language is easy, but learning to think under a different paradigm is difficult. This video from renowned software architect Neal Ford helps you transition from a Java-writing imperative programmer to a functional programmer, using Java, Clojure and Scala as examples. Rather than focus on specific language features, Functional Thinking looks at a variety of common practices in OOP languages and then shows you how to solve the same problems using a functional language. For instance, you know how to achieve code-reuse in Java via mechanisms such as inheritance and polymorphism. Code reuse is also possible in functional languages, using high-order functions, composition, and multi-methods. Ford encourages you to value results over steps, so you can begin to think like a functional programmer. Expect your mind to be bent, but you’ll finish with a much better understanding of both the syntax and semantics of functional languages. This video is ideal for any experienced programmer. Topics include: Shifting Paradigms: Filter, map, reduce Ceding control: Currying and partial application; recursion Evolution: Memoization; closures Nailgun-driven development: Concurrency, Function composition, coupling vs. composition, functional data structures, monads Bendability: Dispatch, meta-programming, DSLs, macros Why you should care Screenshots Problem with unrar or link die , please request here : goo.gl/t4uR9G Password for Unrar : tut4dl [hide][uploaded] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Rapidgator] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]]

  16. IOS XRV integration with GNS3 using Virtual Box Usman Ahmed CCIE # 36945Network Engineer at IBM Most of the guys including myself was facing issues in integrating the XRv with GNS3. I read lots of the forums and videos and was unable succeed. Last week i some how able to boot the XRv and integrate with GNS3 but facing the ping issue. I was unable to ping from XRv or ping XRv from other VXR/ISR routers. I tired to connect XRv directly to XRv and Cisco VXR as well as XRv connected to XRv and VXR via switch. In some of the forum i found that, ping issue is there, you need to start sending the icmp packets with a count of 1000 and delete the interface between the node and then established the connection. ping issue will be resolved. I tried to do the same but not able to succeed. Then i have made few changes in the settings of Virtual box and now i am able to integrate the XRv with XRv and VXR/ISR routers and other platforms as well. So i Thought, its better to share here so that other can take benefit of it. following settings i used and succeeded. 1- extract the ova file using 7-zip 2- create new VM Name: XRv Type: other Version: other/unknown 64 bit RAM 2048 MB Use existing disk and called the vmdk file from the extracted files (in Step 1) 3- go to VM setting, disable Floppy, CD rom as its of no use in network adapter, adapter -1 : NAT under advanced setting >>> adapter type: paravirtualized network (virtio-net) adapter 2- 4 : not attached under advanced setting >>> adapter type: paravirtualized network (virtio-net) 4- Make Full clone of the VM as per your need. mark the reinitialized the mac addresses while cloning. 5- integrate with GNS3: edit>preferences>Virtual Box>virtual box guest name: whatever you want to give select the VM machine from list reserve 1st for virtual box./MGMT purpose enable console support NIC : 4 start in headless mode (without GUI) you are ready to go with XRv in GNS3 and just drag and drop the VM. XRv will take approx 3-5 minute for boot. upon first boot it will ask you to type the root username and password. please dont use admin, root.,cisco username as it will not allow you to use these usernames. please try other word whatever you want for username and password. --- YOUR XRV is now ready
