  1. Hi Friends, I have created few videos (3 exactly) to understand NAT technology from start to finish. First two videos are very useful for CCNA/CCNP but last video goes into how NAT works on core level so can watch that also just to understand this technology. If you like please subscribe as more videos will be coming soon.

  3. I've a expiring CCENT and was wondering if i can still book for ICND2 after CCENT expiry.
  4. Hi all, Cisco.PracticeTest.200-120.v2013-06-19.by.Pascal.267q.vce item 17. I think that answer here should be A right? Please see attachment.
  5. I had several scheduling conflicts that made me reschedule 3 times already. I finally took both exams ICND1 & ICND2 within 2 weeks! The last two weeks I was concerned because I have not had a chance to study most of June and July. All of the really little details were getting fuzzy. I crammed the last two weeks and managed to refresh enough of the data. Time: 4 months (yes I know that's a long time) Sources: - Cisco Net Academy, - Wendell Odem ICND1 & 2, - CBT Nuggets, - Home lab 3 routers 4 switches, - Packet Tracer and of course - 100-101 - CCNA Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices 1 (ICND1) – Exam Prep by Visar Jusufi App from AppStore - 200-101 - CCNA Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices 2 (ICND2) – Exam Prep by Visar Jusufi App from AppStore My basic order of study was to take the classes. Repeat the labs at home. Watch the CBT Nuggets series. Repeat some labs. Read Odems book. Also exam prep’s I did use daily and twice a day. I built a silly packet tracer file and just kept adding every feature I could think of. This was helpful for checking show commands. I never did get an IOU file for the new GNS3 beta or I would have used that. Thank you all for the help! Leonardo
  6. I downloaded the CBT nuggets videos as well as viewing the online videos from IT university. I also downloaded the CCNA ICND1, ICND2 official Cert guide, 3rd Edition book which is the reason why I am posting this message today. I've been in IT for about 7 years, I know basic networking knowledge. I decided to continue my career by going towards the Cisco route. I am starting off with the CCENT which I need some help. The book I referred to earlier is driving me nutz I thought I understood what was going on with videos, but when I go back to the book I feel like I have a dunce cap on top off my head . Anyway, I am here to seek some help. I want to know more, but I don't think it's sinking in . The videos are great! but after reading through some of these threads, I should also rely on the books as well. Does anyone have any suggestions? Maybe a study group I'm located in the NYC area. Thanks Again
  7. Cisco has recently updated CCENT and CCNA certifications making it more job oriented and according to the latest advacements. To earn CCENT and CCNA certifications candidates have to take new exams for ICND1 100-101 exam whereas for ICND2 the new exam code is 200-101. Cisco has also released exam guide for CCENT and CCNA ICND1 100-101 exam. visit official Cisco website and if anyone has tried it kindly share your views!
  8. Hi All, I am currently revising for this exam, but would like to also have a book, ebook, PDF to read as well as the videos as i find this helps personally. Does anyone have any links or download locations for a free ebook or PDF version of this book? Regards, Craig
  9. Hello guys, I'm happy to say that after almost 3 months of studying, I finally passed my CCENT I passed with 894, I really wanted to get 900, but anyways a pass is a pass. This is the breakdown: Operation of IP Data Networks 100 % Lan Switching Technologies 82 % IP addressing IPv4 and IPv6 100% IP Routing Technologies 79% IP Services 100 % Network Device Security 88 % Troubleshooting 71 % I gotta say, that I was very nervous, I ended up not writing what I was thinking to write on the board (a table for subnetting) , 'cause I was afraid of timing, and you can only start writing on the board until you click on 'start', but I'm glad I nailed the IP addressing portion and I managed it to do it without any table Main Material: * Odom Wendell Book * CBT Nuggets * 100-101 - CCNA Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices 1 (ICND1) – Exam Prep * Home Lab and Packet Tracer Review Material: * Chris Briant Udemy Course (I listed to some of these while I was driving) * Paul Browning - CCNA in 60 Days (I read this after I finished reading Odom Wendell's book, the layout is good, but it has too many typos and errors) Ok guys I wish you the best in your studies... Now I have to start working on my ICND2, I really wanted to obtain both certifications before Summer ended, but I think I'm already a little bit late for that. So far what material do you think is the best for ICND2 ?
