Hey Everyone, I recently passed the RHCE (EX300) exam. The results of your EX300 Exam are reported below. Exam Domain Number: 7 Passing score for the exam: 210 Your score: 270 Result: PASS Congratulations -- you have earned the EX300 Certificate. However, my target was to get 300. But unfortunately my machine had some problem with the ethernet2 interface . Thus I couldn't complete the network teaming question. Also I think I messed up the script . Otherwise everything's fine. One thing I learned is, even if you're expert in something. Sometime fate doesn't support you like you want it to. Network teaming was one of the most easiest question, and I couldn't complete that. Anyway, I am really happy that I got the certificate. My goal is to achieve RHCA. Next step...... RH413 (Red Hat Server Hardening). Regards
Guys, There is a little update on the exam front. Yesterday a friend of mine took the exam and these are the changes he reported. 1) Enabel kernel parameter kernstack by setting its value to 1. and is should reflect to /proc/cmdline after reboot. Well, everyone knows this. The reason for telling this one is because for some time they have been asking to enable "sysvctl". 2) Enable the ip forwarding and disable ping request coming to your system. Note one thing here: they have asked you to disable incoming ping request. So guys just be a little careful if you are using iptables to block icmp. Thanks & Bye
