  3. Hi Guys, In H3 3.1, C4C solution have both BGP ipv4 and vpnv4. However if I just config BGP vpn4 and let add ipv4 blank, MPLS still working well. So Do we just need vpnv4 in MPLS?

  8. Hey guys Another question about theory vs. practice. In the book Interconnecting Data Centers using VPLS I read (on page 20): When I learnt about MPLS and LDP in the INE videos, they simply enable it by entering the mpls ip interface configuration command. Does the above quote means that service providers manually configure each neighbor as a targeted neighbor? Or do they simply use the session protection feature which automatically generates these targeted LDP sessions with the command mpls ldp session protection?

  12. Hi All: I have a little lab about MPLS as the attached file. R2 and R3's loopback0 can reach each other by EIGRP. Links between R1/R2/R3 are MPLS enabled. R2 and R3 are IBGP neighbors. R2 advertise 22.22.22.22/32 in BGP. R3 advertise 33.33.33.33/32 in BGP. My question is why R3 can ping 22.22.22.22 sucessfully. I don't enable vpnv4 in R2/R3 bgp config. Prefix "22.22.22.22" is not in R1's RIB,so R1 should not have local-label for 22.22.22.22 or 33.33.33.33. How R1 can help route to 22.22.22.22 ? Thanks. mpls_lab.ppt

Few common Q&A in K6: 1) use- Bdpufilter enable in BB facing interfaces in SW1,SW2,SW3 2) used-Ipv6 icmp error-interval 250 3) Multicast - Used priority 1 or R1 and 2 on R2 4) DHCP- Used the same solution discussed in the forum( used ip verify source, didn't use rate limit) 5) didn't touch OER 6) in IPV6 Section , u need to make out the ipv6 address from R4. 7) WCCP - without access list. server to client 62 and client to server 61- 8)EEM- used .*%SYS-5CONFIG.* once again thanks to all..........especially to the expert team USILD ,RIKITTE ,Xengeo,Lincc,ikccie.....to name a few...... friend.
  17. 1) question is ping 192.168.20.1 from R20 with source is 200.20.20.20 200.20.20.20 is redistributed to area 0 and area 1 is nssa . am not able to see any routes to 200.20.20.20 in nssa also am not able see to see any default route in nssa

  23. I was doing one of the B TS lab and maybe I was using the wrong workbook (attached below), I could not get the ECMP working between R1 and R3/R5 when tracing 194.1.0.1 on R12 (Ticket#5). I did configured maximum path for eibgp to be 2 but still not able to ECMP and both R3 and R5 are advertising the equal cost for 194.1.0.1 to R1. Please advise.
