FAQ about new CCIE program and CCIE SEC v6 [Hidden Content] WHAT TO EXPECT IN v5 NOW: 1. As every ccie aspirant will try to get his ccie before 24th Feb and as lab is stable now and 95% chances are new changes will not be introduced in lab . "getting a seat for lab exam become more difficult now" 2. as everyone will try hard to get there ccie and all lab seats are booked you will start hearing rumors of changes in lab as its last chance to get you ccie sec v5. and if not now then we have to wait for 8-10 months again.so vendors can earn some money 3. i am not a big supporter of skype study groups but now we need one so we can share if there is any update.. if any seat get available... what are active labs... and if once facing issues can help each other and can save ourself from rumors most importantly. so to join group ping me on skype. if you are not in my contact list look at footer of my lab docs here. and please dont add comments on this post saying add me in group

Copy-paste configs from tshoot devices that you can use in config section like GETVPN, SW2 config and ASAv config. It will help if you don’t remember commands or if you practise in a notepad. 2. avoid taking extra time. The time you will save in tshoot will be added in config. CONFIG SECTION 1. ASAv asdm access will be there you can check by doing *show asdm image* if no then config it from boot directory *asdm image boot:/asdm* 2. ASA1-2-3-4 will be in single mode need to be changed in multiple. Do it when you start Lab. 3. ASA3-4 cluster will take some time to get interface up. have patience and move on next task verify later. 4. NGIPS will be preregistered on FMC there you just have to create new rules above preconfigured rule or you can delete those. Use pre-configured objects R1,R2,anyconnect,ssl_clientless,eigrp_multicast, Create objects: *˜Server1* and *Server2* 5. If WCCP come up and redirection not happening. Try rebooting R2 & WSA 6. SSLVPN trustpoint and crypto key creat from cli and bookmark needed to be configured on both units separately. 7. GETVPN eigrp config will be missing and R3 interface for getvpn ip need to be config. getvpn may take 1-2 minutes to get up. 8. FlexVPN tunnel 35 take few minutes to get up. 9. Active Directory will pre-joined so test if the user gets successfully tested. keep r1.cisco.com session open 10. maybe question mark will not work on AP. you can check if ip is already configured by doing *show ip int br* Keep in mind, shut/no shut int gi1/0/7 of SW2 will reboot AP. 11. when you open RDP for dot1x pc mabpc client pc wireless PC right down RDP number of paper so that you can identify them later. 12. on ISE when you login first time makes sure you type it correctly. if you enter the wrong password more then 3 times admin account will get locked. 13. SW2_P has only VLAN Interface IP configured in Lab. Nothing Else! 14. don't waste time in troubleshooting things first configure all and write down what section which is not get verified and in last tshoot them. don't waste more than 5-10 minutes in troubleshooting any task. FAQ Q. I heard there is new TS/DIAG should I postpone my exam? A. absolutely no… don’t postpone two reasons for that 1. changes in the lab are very uncertain if you think like this you will never be able to attempt. So go fearlessly. 2. if someone will share TS2 today vendors will say there is TS3 launched so don’t be afraid they have to sell they will say anything. Q. can you share workbooks? or how can I download real lab workbooks? A. [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] Q. can you share eve lab topology? A. even if someone will give you lab file... because they built them according to there eve setup...it won't necessarily work for everyone unless they tweak around according to their setup. So physical as well as logical topology is already shared on the forum. You can create your own eve lab just in few hours. Q. how can I download eve images? A. you can download images from Cisco portal and use them with few tweaks and if you don’t have access to the portal you can search for them in CC. [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] Q. Where can I get initial configs for the lab? A. you can get free or paid sessions from vendors and take initial config out. As mentioned earlier you can use multiple email account to get multiple free sessions from cloudmylab and CBTproxy
