  9. Dear All, I want to re-contribute to this forum. I took the lab exam a while back (sorry did not update straight after, had a lot of work after the exam thus can't remember much) and I passed. I had compile all the useful information I gathered from this forum and made a small booklet. You can find the attached PDF. I only use this document for the last 3 weeks of study before the lab exam. In the document: - You will find summary of commands I used for each section - Indicators for what technology they are asking - The approach I took in the lab - A good document for TS section I had found in this forum (credit given to whoever made it) - Diag questions from various sources in one place If you find some commands, approach or comment not up to your standards, they are purely my way of doing it. What all has been updated since this booklet has been made? Is there something missing that needs to be added. My response: When I made the booklet, the forum only had 7 TS labs in IOU floating around. Now, I think there are 10 TS labs but the tickets all resolve around the same TS set up as the 7 available in the booklet. (This is a personal opinion). As for Diagnostic, I got all three from the compilation in the booklet. They were: 1) Switch Mac Address Sticky 2) DMVPN redistribution NBMA address with redistribute connected 3) Asymmetrical URPF problem For configuration, it was pretty much spot on with the one in the booklet. I manly noted down what keywords to ensure that I understand what specific implementation for each section. Effectively, I did print out a small book (A4 size, doubel sides with two page per side) from notes I made and then scribbled around them as I practiced. Unfortunately, the scribbled out print out got lost on my flight back home from the lab location. Lapta had posted this as a share: [Hidden Content] and looking at the post, I would say the compilation book takes into account almost 75-80% of the material. Sorry I cant be any more specific. Maybe anybody can make a word version of this document and update it for others to use.   10. EDIT: apparently I've missed ip cef on R6/R7 and this generated the issue. I don't have the problem anymore. I'm experiencing this issue on TSv5-301 MPLS ticket (ios 15.2.3) It looks a bug but please let me know If I've forgot something: I start with a blank configuration and I fix this: - on R8 md5 authentication to R6 - I enable mpls ip on all interfaces for R2 at this time from R8 I can ping R9 and R10 with source loo 0 and same the opposite Now I should fix the ldp neighborship with R8->R6/R7->R2 R6 and R7 use ldp autoconfig in OSPF but with wrong area. I change everything to area 0 (mpls ldp autoconfig area 0 (or 0.0.0.0)) and I got neighborship with R2, R8, R4, etc. At this time I lose ping form R8 to R9/R10 and vice versa. In routing table I see everything and path is fine, but I don't ping anymore. I've tried a reload of everything but problem is still there. Then I've removed mpls autoconfig from OSPF on R6/R7. Ping start to work again. then I enable mpls on each interface on R6/R7 (I got back ldp neighbours) and ping still work. Save+reload and I lose pings (100% lost). I disable the mpls again on R6/R7 and everything is back up (but ldp neighbours of course). I'm using latest UD iou (v 21 with ios 15.2.3). Someone else experienced this issue? Thanks

Hi there, i have a problem with Routing on ASA 5505 (the image is: Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 8.2(2), with Base licence: Licensed features for this platform: Maximum Physical Interfaces: 8 VLANs: 3, DMZ Restricted). Here is a brief explanation of the topology: ASA Interface Ethernet 0/0 nameif outside switchport access vlan 11 ASA Inteface VLAN 11: description Outside Interface for Internet IP: A.A.A.2/30 <- DC endpoint Upstream IP: A.A.A.1/30 There is a Cisco Switch connected to one of ASA Ethernet ports, forming Public/DMZ VLAN (ID 500) segment. ASA Interface Ethernet 0/2 nameif public switchport access vlan 500 ASA Inteface VLAN 500: description Public/DMZ VLAN IP: B.B.B.1/26 Cisco 3750 Interface VLAN 500: IP: B.B.B.2/26, - default gateway: B.B.B.1, - IP Routing enabled on Switch. From the Cisco Switch I can access the Internet with Source IP: B.B.B.2. Now I have asked from DC additional subnet: C.C.C.0/26 and they have it routed correctly towards the ASA Outside interface IP: A.A.A.2. I have created additional Public2 VLAN on the Switch with IP address of: C.C.C.1/26. It's going to serve as default gateway because of the ASA 3 VLAN limitation with Base licence. On the ASA 5505 i've added the route to this Public2 VLAN: #route public C.C.C.0 255.255.255.192 B.B.B.2 1 Now the problem is that from the Switch with Source IP: C.C.C.1 i can ping ASA 5505 Public VLAN IP: B.B.B.1 so the routing between subnets B.B.B.0/26 and C.C.C.0/26 is working OK on both the ASA 5505 and the Switch. But I can't access the Internet from the Switch with Source IP: C.C.C.1.

  23. I'm in preparation of Exam 70-643, I want to configure a private virtual Lab for hand-on practical. I have 2 virtual Servers 2008 R2 and 2 Windows 7 virtual machines installed in VMWare.
