  1. Inquiry 1: How to tell what lab is loaded in web-iou from Linux? - i.e. I loaded the lab, pause VM ware, few days later came back and want to continue same lab. Web browser does not show which lab is loaded? How can I tell using Linux show commands and looking into temporary directory?
  2. Hi Guys , Has anyone noticed the differences in GNS3 1.2 ( with iou-integration ) Vs IOU-WEB ? I found that , in GNS3 1.2 using iou image l2-adventerprisek9-15.1b , HSRP is not working . As soon as you fire the command , # standby 1 ip 160.1.10.2 the switch hangs and does not respond . Is it that web-iou is better than using GNS3 1.2 for Switching ? Please share your experiences with GNS3 1.2 with switching .
  3. I have noticed between 5-7 faults per question in the web-IOU recently released by UldisD. It's great stuff byt I'm confued. Are the faults in the questions *ALL* of the faults that could be seen on the exam? I recently sat the lab (failed) and didn't remember seeing that many faults.
  4. Is there a way to do a packet capture inside of web-iou? We have a nice feature available in GNS3 which is the native support for wireshark within the topology. I just wanted to know if there is something remotely similar with IOU? I find it extremely helpful when I am able to capture packets to get a deep look at a way a certain protocol behaves, and this would be even better to do on these monster topologies that we have for iou. Thanks for your feedback
  5. Hi Guys i was working collecting some IOU images to create a permanent folder to download (for this community) to share using Bittorrent Sync, does any one of you guys have a place where i can dowload more IOU images, or you can share with me via PM, Filesharing host, or whatever site, to create this permanent mirror. Any collaboration will be appreciated
  6. Hello everyone, Uploading some of GNS3 Vault labs created for web iou. These include some labs on MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and RIP. It contains all the topology diagrams, initial configs and the instructions required to complete the lab. Created these a while back for myself as GNS3 eats up a lot of CPU and RAM. I hope these are helpful. Just drop a comment for any suggestions. External download link -[hide] [Hidden Content]] iou-web-export-20131023172633 (GNS3 Vault Labs).gz

  13. It seems people want quick answers instead of learning the technology and seeing, for yourselves, in person, what stuff actually happens. So, I have build the uRPF lab that seems to be floating around the internet. The import probably requires you to manually select the initial configuration file per device - I don't know how to do proper config-packs... But everything seems to work on boot up. ...now go play, experiment, learn... for yourselves...! iou-web-export-uRPF-LAB-BXO-v0.1.gz

  15. Dear Folks, After very hard work, here is it. First big thanks goes to: Crabs, Howler, DaveGuy…and all others who helped me to get this web-iou together. This is WEB-IOU TSv5 Consolidated version of possible TSv5 variations. Respected almost all feedbacks from forum. Of course here are not 100% fine-tuned in some tickets with very special commands, but IT IS very use able. Please use work book provided from Howler. Please just read a questions carefully and check where Router or something are not match. It should be tuned for this WEB-IOU edition. Topology comes from your feedback's. Please verify its path and try again" Also i can seem to be able to extract the iou-web.7z.002 file, i dont know if the copy i downloaded is corrupted, if anyone can re-upload their copy i will really appreciate it. I have spent hours on trying to understand the workings and can't seem to figure it out. Please guys help me out as i'm currently preparing for my CCIE lab.

  21. Hi guys , does anyone have k labs initial configs with initial faults . Thanks in advance.
  22. I am trying to solve TS5 Question 6 frame QoS, but I am facing issue with nat. My solution for the question matches with solutions posted on the forum but i guess it will not work. When I try to ping or telent from PC27 to 100.23.23.23 or 100.25.25.25 it is perfectly fine and I can see the expected output as per the question of multilink. But when i went question number 5 frame Qos , i found that whenever I tried to ping 100.23.23.23. fro R26 pings are not succesfull as packets are forwarded to 192.168.20.2 because multilink interface is NAT OUTSIDE interface and I can see the packets being recieved by PC27. Does anyone know how to overcome this issue, because question say that we should be able to reach 100.23.23.23 from R26 . Below is configuration and Debug output ON R26 I did'nt configured any QoS related config yet . ###################################################################################### R27#ping 100.23.23.23 repeat 50 Type escape sequence to abort. 23. Hi Chaps, 1) Any body please advise me what are the features I can't practice on web-iou itself regarding K-Labs ( I read some where 98% of things possible, is it true?). 2) on the other hand is it possible to integrate GNS3 & Real switches for K-Labs? I have this setup and practicing INE vol2 labs 3) Any body work with GNS3&real Switch hybrid solution for K-Labs, can I get the .net fie (should be same as all labs ?) and initial config somewhere? * I am not requesting just curios on possibilities? 4) How to send private message to any member?
